Dig out your 15 inches of dirt, 15 inches deep – and take it to LA with you.

Then, do 1 of 3 things.

1) Make a box that is 15 cubic inches with the dirt and send it around the world.
2) Make a window box with the dirt and grow something in LA.
3) Send him saltwater from the Dead sea and fill the hole.

The monopoly house or sign ideas sound pretty rad. You could do a tiny representative garden similar to the one at the Getty with plants that grow to different heights. They would have to be so small and contained though.
Something simple could be pretty sweet too – like a prism or pretty piece of glass.
